not from a business standpoint they're not... but that doesn't comfort me when considering their efforts to wipe out all of their competition and have a monopoly in the seed market. I think it's important that anyone who wants to try, should be able to grow their own produce.

3 1/2 years ago I started having digestive issues the the max. After countless tests, a colonoscopy and finally an upper endoscopy it was determinded I have Celiac disease. The ONLY treatment is to quit eating wheat products. You know how bad that sucks? No beer or pizza. Things are better these days because they are really getting up to speed about gluten free stuff but I really miss and actual Coors and a deep dish wheat pizza. I firmly believe this genically modified wheat crap is a bigger issue than anyone knows. I never had an issue until I hit my mid 50's and it came on overnight. It sucks getting old but I am not experiencing any zombie symptoms yet. It might be the tequila keeping it at bay. Oh and impeach Obama.

    Same here!
My mom's friend in KS is married to a farmer, he uses *gasp!* GMO seeds... those crops pay the bills and go on his family's dinner table. After 45 years of farming their still a picture of health.

FDA does not show it to good for you, just not harmful in limited qty.
Look at Aspertame. Breaks down to Methanol and Formaldehyde in the human body. Interesting one of the key reasons FDA says its OK, is because Methanol is found in fruits. However, they never address that when found in fruits, its bound to Pectin, which our bodies cannot break that bond, thus we pass it thru. Where in the case of free Methanol we absorb it. If you look back you'll find a number of folks died during prohibition because they accidentally produced methanol, and a whole 100ml, about 4oz is lethal. But ingesting it daily thru diet, and sugar free is OK? Do what you want, but Im not going to make lifelong decisions based on a few month of studies that say something is safe.

Nah, a genetically modified rabies virus or other mutated viral outbreak will start it, not food.
