Default This is how Zombies happen....

    Interesting (at least to me).
Made me think of the show they did (can't remember the cable channel, but it was very recent) that was meant to be an almost serious discussion of what could cause a "real" zombie outbreak to happen, and one of the potential "causes" speculated on was the idea of a government genetic or weapoonized program of some kind getting released accidentally.

(I'm probably in a minority, but I don't generally get the outrage over genetically modified crops. I think that if it's tested and shown to be safe for consumption, go for it. We've selectively bred crops and animals for millenia, this is just the next stage in developing a better product)

Nah, a genetically modified rabies virus or other mutated viral outbreak will start it, not food.

Me too. The only issue I have with genetically modified plants is the control over their seeds. When they control the seed supply, they control the food supply... which I find unacceptable.

    Same here!
My mom's friend in KS is married to a farmer, he uses *gasp!* GMO seeds... those crops pay the bills and go on his family's dinner table. After 45 years of farming their still a picture of health.

not from a business standpoint they're not... but that doesn't comfort me when considering their efforts to wipe out all of their competition and have a monopoly in the seed market. I think it's important that anyone who wants to try, should be able to grow their own produce.
