    Interesting (at least to me).
Made me think of the show they did (can't remember the cable channel, but it was very recent) that was meant to be an almost serious discussion of what could cause a "real" zombie outbreak to happen, and one of the potential "causes" speculated on was the idea of a government genetic or weapoonized program of some kind getting released accidentally.

    STFU, Carl!
Allow me to clarify that I find the story, and the alarmist attitude about it interesting. Can't say I'm losing any sleep over GMO crops.....
Does bring up the point of why the hell they can't keep something contained if that was the intention, though....

    Who's Carl?
I was only joking about the Zombie comments... sounds awful infowars-y to me.

(I'm probably in a minority, but I don't generally get the outrage over genetically modified crops. I think that if it's tested and shown to be safe for consumption, go for it. We've selectively bred crops and animals for millenia, this is just the next stage in developing a better product)

Me too. The only issue I have with genetically modified plants is the control over their seeds. When they control the seed supply, they control the food supply... which I find unacceptable.
