We just sold today a new Glock 34, 4th Gen, with 3 10-rnd mags. Right now, if we don't purchase CA-compliant guns (in place of over 15 rnd guns), we won't have them. The guy who bought this pistol today was waaaaay happy to get it 10s or not.

Glad you guys thought ahead, as much as I hate it all to begin with. Guess I'm glad I got some STANDARD capacity G17 mags from you awhile back lol.

These will not be available in this state. There will be a little burp in supply as everyone adjusts and finds sufficient 10 round mags for various firearms. We will simply be purchasing CA-compliant firearms whenever they are available. There is no other choice at this time.

    LOL! Vindication for Hummer!

None of us has a crystal ball. What will happen, will happen. Each store's gonna do something different, is my guess. I was at the Big R by Peyton today and they had guns with mags > 15, no "fire sale" that I could see. In fact, there wasn't a soul at the gun counter except for me! No signs either.

Hummer and Jim were certainly right in that thread. We have already purchased some 10 rnd AR mags for that which we have in stock and in store.

That all makes sense. The OP's original post did not as he implied that the Sportsman's counter help was misstating the law. But I could not tell if the FUD was on which side of the counter.

That Sportsmans might have to figure out what stock they couldn't sell because of a lack of magazines makes sense. Being so confused as to claim the guns themselves were banned makes no sense.

I've stopped going into Sportsman's Warehouse in Broomfield altogether. For over 6 months they've had no ammo except shotgun shells, and they finally decided that they just wouldn't put it on the shelves anymore when it comes in . . . they keep it behind the counter at customer service and one day a week you can stand outside for 2 hours before they open for a chance to buy a few boxes of low grade FMJ target ammo. Bass Pro Shop rarely has ammo either, but at least they still put it on the shelves and have a 2 box limit.
