    Default Grand Tetons and Jellystone

Mrs Sharpienads and I took a little trip to Grand Teton National Park and Jellystone (Yellowstone) last week. Man, the Tetons are awesome. I've never seen anything like them. I could just stare at them all day. Anyway, picture thread, so here you go:

Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.

Makes me homesick! I grew up on the west side of the Tetons , beautiful area of the country. Those are some great shots too!

Why do you think they named them "Grand Tetons"? assuming you know the etymology of the word....

Great photos of a magnificent place.

Tetons/Yellystone is great anytime of the year, in the winter they take on a whole new dynamic.

Yes they do. Grew up skiing tar ghee twice a week, and in recent years riding sleds right up to the wilderness. Snow piles up deep back in some of those canyons!
