    Let me try to explain "flipper rub".

    Marlin is the site owner and the "end all be all of everything COAR15". While Marlin is a great brand of firearms, it is also a fish, with flippers. The humor of this is that if you really want something that only Marlin can approve, or you need to get back into good graces with Management, giving Marlin a "flipper rub" is the way to do it. Just asking the question puts you in the category of needing to give one of these to Marlin. Sorry, I don't make the rules, I just enforce 'em.


    Oh, and pre-emptive flipper rubs are always a good idea too.
