    first there needs to be mags with serial numbers on them, but with guns it's just a police ID. Don't know if it will be different.

    Incorrect. The mags are marked LE RESTRICTED and or LE/ MIL RESTRICTED USE ONLY.

    No i have not, however LE firearm purchases will come with LE designated magazines. Just as they did during the 94-2004 AWB. The LGS's up here are only selling more than 15 rd mags to current LE's . Unfortunately even the LE's are unsure of what they will be able to purchase. Which is why the lawsuit was filed.

    Adamson's here in Erie is still selling pmags t0 LEO's. As of the 1st, they just photocopy your dept. ID

    The old "LE RESTRICTED" etc. markings of the AWB era were from a national law. The markings on magazines greater than 15 rounds would need to be Colorado specific and are not required nationally. Until CBI issues regulations, I do not believe we know how they will be marked.

    Further, the legislation itself only requires markings on magazines manufactured in Colorado.
