    Date codes are pretty much industry standard on most any injection molded part. It's for tracking production lots for problems, like surface flaws, structural or material issues.

    I understand this but dates codes can be used too or some sort of internal number but to continue to put the actual date on them when most other manufacturers don't makes no sense.

    Well, the law wasn't enacted until July 1, so by labeling it June 31 they can say that they were crafting them prior to the ban, but a *technical glitch* mislabeled them all. Just another way of thumbing their noses at the CO Legislature.

    Most other mag manufacturers Dont do this. I have several saiga mags that Dont have anything on them

    I just received some Moses Mags for my FAL that appear to have a date code. Just sayin.
