Any word from Magpul and their move?

I figured by now Magpul would have announced what state they are moving to.

Anyone heard anything?

Their facebook said they were in the final negotiation stages with a yet to be named state but they hadn't officially singed yet so they weren't announcing.

I heard Wyoming too, but only for the magazine manufacturing portion of the business. The rest was supposedly staying in Erie... but it's all hear say/grapevine chatter AFAIK.

That's what I thought I had originally read as well, or was at least lead to believe. The above more recent FB post made it sound like it was going to leave nothing here.

A friend of mine has friend at Magpul and told me their HQ would remain here but take that for what its worth. Im not sure what to believe.

They (Magpul) has been saying since the beginning that they will move everything out of state. Saying that moving EVERYTHING will make a a point. They specifically said it would not just be the Mags. Personally Wyoming has to be the smart move. Hopefully they set up a store close to the border.

My big question is why do they continue to put stamp the date of manufacture on the product? I guess it is too late now, but they should have stopped dating stuff once the bill passed.

And also, who makes a 15 round AR mag? Definitely a market for it now!

I agree about the stopping of dating magazines. Silly that they are so against these new laws yet they are one of the only magazine manufactures that puts an actual date code on their mags and continues to do so.

Magpul did say they would still have a presence of some kind here in the state through the next election cycle.

Soooooo....

If they quit dating them today then that would identify them as post July 3rd as all Pmags up to today had been dated.

Maybe not helping us, but the next state that tries this same BS. This is going to be a continuing battle.
