And to be more clear, being videotaped is not annoying, it is the intent of the videotaping, "I don't like pigs, so I'm going to get them on video, in hopes that they screw up".

Just like "98% of cops do their job professionally", 98% of the d-bags are pulling out cameras to spite LE. They are not trying to keep "checks and balances" or hold Police accountable.
In fact they are often times instigating the Officers off camera and then as the cop starts to lose his cool out comes the camera. I don't even know why people post videos like this thread. People already have their views and they aren't going to change. It's a royal waste of time between those who support LE and have been in a similar situation against those who armchair quatertback the situation and act like they would have made the perfect decision, even though they don't know shit about it.
I'll just leave this here:

I will not criticize because the were mistakes made on both parties IMO. The only thing i can ask is this a justifiable discharge of a weapon? I'm being facetious, I really want to know policies.
Im baffled by people that use the term "use of deadly force" with an animal. Is it just me or has there been a lot of cop bashing lately??.. I think this was handled by the officer just fine. In that situation, you don't know the dog, how it acts, what it was trained for (maybe he should have stopped the dog and asked it nicely, in English, what it's intentions were...oh wait, last I checked dogs don't talk.....). It was pissed off enough to climb through a half rolled up window. The owner appears to be complete dirtbag, or at least acts that way. I'm not saying the dog, wasn't maybe a good dog. But it was a threat and handled accordingly.
In before the lock.
Looks like the 3 officers in the video have been pulled off their street duties for their safety. http://www.contracostatimes.com/news...-shooting-from
Would vary with each department and their policies....for instance some departments strictly forbid shooting at moving vehicles (pretty much stating that there is no justifiable reason to shoot into/at a moving vehicle. While other departments don't mention that in their policy. I would imagine that he feared imminent serious bodily to himself or one of the other officers so in order to prevent that he used his weapon.
