I've been running the .223 comps and I have about 4K rounds downrange total now. I decided not to put up any photos of the baffle since the current production ones have a thicker baffle which will increase the longevity. We have been selling them on our website and the folks that have received them have been very happy with them. Less concussion, just as effective as the more "popular" ones, but with less weight and cost.

Picked one at Springs Armory. Only have a few quick rounds out of it but wow...very impressed. My only issue is I'm running out of excuses on why I can't hit the targets!
Seriously, very smooth, recoil reduction was impressive.
    Thanks for the review/recommendation!

I've run a few hundred rounds through the prototype 308 brake, including two matches and twp practice sessions. At 20yds, I can hammer pairs from a 20rd mag of nato ball and consistently score 17-18 Alpha hits on a standard USPSA target. Jarod and I are still testing and tweeking the little details, so he's not ready to release it yet. It's looking very promising though. A couple of things I have noticed so far... The comp feels exactly the same to me with full power Nato and with reduced power 125gr ammo. The carbon pattern in the baffles after 300 rds is barely visible, meaning the comp does a good job of cleaning itself. Also there seems to be an even dispersion across all three baffles, meaning the gas is not just dumping out the first baffle. There is no sign of errosion, although it is way too early for that to mean anything. So far I like the brake a lot.

I've picked up a .223/5.56 and a 7.62/308 14x1LH AK muzzle brakes. I really like the machining and finish quality , compact size.
Both brakes work great and do an impressive recoil reduction , also less concussion than many brakes on the market for sure.
Great brakes, highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a really good working, high quality muzzle device.

Jared tells me he is working hard on the .308 comps. What I would consider the dominant .308 3Gun shooter over the past 15 years or so compared this comp, on video, to three other, more expensive, more famous, but no better performing comps. He was happy with the performance and the movement on the DR comp was less than the others. He asked that I not post the video or even show it to anyone else, but the performance is there. He will work on another video when he has some time next year.

SHIT................ i am months over due on my findings. Received a test unit months ago. Installed on the wife's AR. However since it's a lefty and , well it's her rifle, i never range tested it. Until last week.
Outside of being a loud brake, the overall function is impressive. I dread the day her tax stamp comes in and i switch it over to her 11.5" upper.
Hopefully she likes the second / third shot follow up as much as i did.

When my Draco SBR stamp finally arrives, i will put one on it too.

I readjusted the gas block and ran the 308 some more yesterday. Did some V drills and shooting on the move. I really like this brake a lot. Had no trouble throwing alpha's and charlie hammers at 25yds, using surplus nato ammo. It's short and light and just plain works.

So where can we buy these? I would like to get my hands on one of these. How do us Denver boys get them. Maybe on a separate note you can see if Noah at Ark Tactical can stock them for you up this way.
