I don't core apples either. There is a couple schools of thought and most say that they're toxic but 1) it's at a level too low to be dangerous to humans and 2) the juicer won't juice the seeds enough anyway. I'm of that school of thought so I just throw them in hole if they fit. If they don't I cut them in half and while I'm doing that I'll pop out seeds that I can see. We have one of those apple cutting dohickys but I don't both with that because a lot of the apple is wasted when you core. I'm leaning towards the cucumber because those can be better sometimes w/o warning. I do peel lemons, oranges and limes as well to avoid that bitter rind messing with the flavor. Search google and you'll find tons of recipes.

Great for breakfast on Sunday mornings. I used to drink a quart of that with a half dozen fried eggs and a double order of home fries, but that was when I was burning off a lot more calories every day.

ok so was talking to a health nut friend of mine who does juicing diets once in a while and she said if you don't want to pay for the juicer up front or don't have the time/energy to juice stuff just buy the naked juices in the larger bottles, get berry veggie or green machine or something like that, pour them into a larger container like a gallon jug or something and dilute with water. they are almost smoothie thickness and the dilution will make them a bit more like juice and go a longer ways. in the end its about $9 per day for a full days worth of juice.

its not quite as good as juicing yourself but is an option.

    Day 5

    Starting Weight: 293.5
    Previous Weight: 286.6
    Current Weight: 284.6

I'm starting to hit my stride. I just need to find a couple more juice recipes to keep things interesting. A single serrano didn't do jack for my juice yesterday so I'll bump it up to two.

A little TMI, but... I haven't had a "regular" BM, or a BM at all for that matter, all week. Normal or not?

I used to eat the equivalent of that when my plan for the day was to sit on my ass and do jack all day.

Guess I showed some restraint then. I'd stop at four eggs, depending upon what kind of meat came along with it all and how much of it. Oh, and the big pile of hashbrowns had to have cheese on it! But I'd add chopped onions to make it "healthy".
