    It's easier than you think.

Saw the movie, it's on hulu. Does the juice really make you feel that much better?

Bought a bike last summer, got down in the 320s and started counting calories May 1st of this year (weight watchers then swapped to the loseit! app on my phone). Hit 289 this morning. Plenty happy with current results averaging just under half a pound a day on a 2400 calorie a day budget, not hungry at all, usually under 2400, and realized how much I was actually overeating and how crappy a lot of the stuff I was eating is. But this thread has intrigued me enough I'm thinking of trying a 3 day, or maybe just as a supplement, to replace breakfast.

I was on a grape juice diet for many years. Cabernet, Chardonnay were some of my favorites. Didn't lose any weight though.

    Day 5

    Starting Weight: 293.5
    Previous Weight: 284.6
    Current Weight: 283.8

I really wanted that ten pounds today and there's no way I'm going to hit the numbers that Jer has hit but that's alright because I'm still making progress.

A couple of factors yesterday; I only juiced twice and had to have a Naked juice while I was down in Denver. I think the lack of juicing slowed me down. I'll get back on it today. I'd like to keep a pound to pound and a half per day rate going.

Man, Jer wasn't kidding about the energy part! I've never had any problem mowing our yard before, but I just finished and I feel like I've been hauling stones for The Pyramids or something. They said the first few days would be doozies.

I've also come to the conclusion that my Jack Lalanne juicer from Goodwill is a piece of shit, even though it's all there and in good shape. Does OK with fruit and some things, but it can't handle kale and celery worth a hoot. Gotta make it do for now.

And the cleanup isn't much fun either. But we trudge on.

HB? What's HB? I don't want to dig back through all the posts to find out, sorry.

Oh hell, Hamilton Beach - duh. Never mind. Told ya the lawn beat me down. Think I'll go grind some tomatoes.
