I know. I was thinking the same thing of how can I be not eating and yet not losing weight and even gaining? Just momentarily frustrated me because for the first time since I started I had a near term goal in mind... hitting the 260's. Based on my recent loss of about 1.5lbs per day I was guessing that by the time I woke up Sunday morning I would be barely into the 260's. Needless to say I was surprised when I weighed exactly the same as I did the day before. I weighed myself several times to make sure and get a lower weight. I convinced myself that it was due to the couple of hours of exercise the morning before and my body was retaining more of the water that I took in thinking I was going to keep throwing strenuous activity in like that moving forward. I was sure that today I would not only lose the usual 1.5lbs but an additional 1.5lbs due to lost water weight... kind of like the time I took in too much sodium accidentally. I was relieved the next day when my predictions were almost exact to the ounce. This time... it didn't go that way. So as you can see the pressure I put on myself is what lead to my let down. I will just keep on keepin' on and stop trying to track my progress or I should say predict. I will track it still so I can journal the progress but I'm not going to guess how much I should be losing and where I should be in a few days. Normally with diet and weight loss you do that but this is clearly different so I will do my best to not set expectations so I can't be let down. It's just tough when you do so well and figure things will slow down but this is one I didn't see coming.

2 week juice fast check-in (technically day 15 but we won't get into the math associated with these terms):
Starting Weight: 290.8
Current Weight: 270.6
Previous Weight: 270.4
Lost since yesterday: +0.2 :-(
Total Weight lost: 20.2
The first thing that might jump out at you was that I've gained weight for the first time during this 2 weeks. Sunday when I got up I was the same weight I was Saturday morning & today I had expected to wake up to even higher loss than my recent trend of 1.5lbs/day. Needless to say I was surprised and bummed to see that my weight had not only not decreased once again but had actually gone up. I did some research and it seems as though these plateaus can happen with juice diets and I'm changing a few things to try to keep ahead of the curve and get back on the gravy train. Sparky posted this link with some pro tips on overcoming a weight loss plateau so I'm going to try a few of those as most of the rest were in line. One of the big things I think is that I'm going to make more veggie juices. I had been wanting to do that anyway and this list even mentions that. I think I saw that you want a split of 80/20 veggie/fruit intake so I will start trying to get closer to that as I had been drinking more of the fruit Bolthouse Farm juices. I was starting to get tired of the sweet taste anyway so I decided to start doing more veggies. I'm going to do nothing but fresh veggie juices for the next 24hrs and see how that affects things. Here's a recipe I just made that is pretty tasty:
5 carrots
5 stalks celery
1/2 green pepper
2 tomatoes
1/2 head broccoli w/stem
1 Serrano Pepper
This yields one large glass of juice and is pretty tasty. The flavor is pretty mellow and you would probably even lower the carrots and celery by 1 for less juice if you don't want it and this would serve to enhance the other flavors.
I just wanted to post an update even though it wasn't positive for those keeping an eye on things to see that it happens and don't let it discourage you if/when it does. Check that link and see if there's anything you can do to spark the loss again or if it's just going to be a matter of time.

After the fast is over, be sure to watch your diet for a while. VERY common to gain it all back very quickly if you don't. What time you eat is important too. For weight loss you do not want to have a heavy meal late in the day, and reduce the use of high fat foods like butter, sour cream, cheeses, peanut butter, ice cream. Generally better to reduce consumption than to try substituting with low fat or no fat alternatives.
With other diets & workout routines I expected this. With this fast I didn't see it coming for several reasons. The first is that you're limiting your intake so the body HAS to make energy from something. It can't just manifest it out of mid air. I'm still largely perplexed by this actually and fully understand the physiology of why it happens for other diets and exercise routines but this is a fast more than a diet even though I continue using the word diet. The next reason was based on the fact that the videos I saw nobody had a day of even losing no weight let along gaining weight. Maybe I need to watch them again just to see if it did happen and maybe I missed it but for anyone who did daily updates I don't recall once seeing a gain. There were some that didn't do daily updates and maybe it was fudged within the numbers there somewhere but I'm not counting those. I get that this is what's happening to me I just don't quite grasp how the physiology plays out.
Like I said before, I will likely start but cutting out all dairy and (most) all grains. I saw most because I know I will have the occasional sushi or roll or something like that. Heck, most of those foods you listed I didn't eat before and have no intention to eat now. Your note on reducing consumption is where I plan to focus my efforts. I can tell now that my cravings will make it difficult to try to substitute because I'm not going to feel 'satisfied' with that. I will instead however reduce portion size drastically. I went through a phase many years ago where I ate half of everything I normally would. If it was something I could save to eat for another meal I would put half in a to go box before I even started eating. If it didn't I threw half away. That right there is a HUGE step in cutting your calories in half w/o doing anything else. Of course I will also modify what I take in along with that and at this point I have no desire to even eat fast food so I'm hoping that stays and I can avoid it entirely. I know it won't be possible but I will play by a few guidelines when it can't be avoided: Eat only half, no fries, no bun or bread, no pop... etc. As I stated the cravings at this point aren't even fast food so I'm going to try to just avoid them entirely if at all possible. Heck, if possible I may even just have juice if they have it or I can get some nearby rather than being 'forced' to eat fast food. That's the biggest part of this diet is to break myself of these habits & cravings I've formed so that I can just make better decisions every day, every meal. In the end that will result being healthier even if I'm not juice fasting anymore.

Haven't seen anyone else ask yet, so I guess I'll be the guy.
What's the poop situation with this diet?
"There are no finger prints under water."
psylium powder or ground flax seed will help with that.

remember if you drop below 1000-1200 calories a day your body will go into conservation mode and you may actually gain for a little bit, you may not be getting enough calories... more juice
