Not all information that is contradictory to what you believe is misinformation. I've been through the same plateau on multiple diets. Here is some information I found on the topic:

Bottom line, go with what you know and keep it up. You're doing great and inspiring others.
"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day."
Day 7
Starting Weight: 293.5
Previous Weight: 283.6
Current Weight: 282.7
I pounded the water and drank a bit more juice than I had over the weekend. Feels damn good to hit that 10lb mark. I'll keep my water intake up and see how the week goes.
Looking into the constipation issue, I'm going to try wheatgrass or papaya which should move things along.
So I tried one of the protien ones from bolthouse. Not very good and I am just dragging. I will skip on those in the future but it was all the store near the hotel had this am.
The Hobo
Day 16 juice fast check-in:
Starting Weight: 290.8
Current Weight: 269.2
Previous Weight: 270.6
Lost since yesterday: 1.4
Total Weight lost: 21.6
Finally, into the 260's! A few days behind 'schedule' but at least it happened. I'm still well ahead of the overall pace to hit 60lbs in 60 days so I shouldn't complain too much. I'm back on track with my usual 1.4lbs per day that I've been losing the past week or so. I feel like the fact that I switched to all veggie juices yesterday (one had a little bit of apple in it) that I juiced fresh was the solution. I'll start working Bolthouse Farms juices back in but just at a lower rate than I had before. Hopefully I don't have any more days of no weight loss or even weight gain because that was frustrating. Sounds like some people have it happen longer than I did so I shouldn't complain too much. It was just getting easy to expect to see big weight loss each day.
Good job man. The double digit mark feels great as it feels like you're making good progress. Sounds like water could have been your hold-up maybe. Don't worry too much about BM's as mine have been every couple (few?) of days and they've been more 'regular' lately too which is surprising given all I'm taking in is liquid. No constipation issues at all and I've been at the other end of that. Maybe try more fruits than veggies if you're having that issue and are taking in mostly veggie juices. Then again, if they're fine but just aren't happening real often I wouldn't worry about that at all. After all, your body is making something solid(ish) from nothing but liquid so it takes time to create something from nothing. lol
Good to hear and now I have my answer. I was wondering about that specific juice and asked earlier but nobody had the answer. I'll continue to avoid it, thanks!

I didn't really "start" until Sunday, but I think I'm down about 8lbs. I wanted to try it and see if I liked it.
The Jack Lalanne juicer I got at Goodwill is crap, even though it's in great shape. Just crap to begin with. But, it's allowed me to test the waters and determine I want to pursue this, and it was only $27.53. Goodwill said I have a 10-day return option, so I'm returning it this afternoon and buying a Breville Juice Fountain. It's $200, but I consider it an investment in my health and future, so it's worth it. Besides, how much have I spent on guns, ammo and other stuff I don't need? Losing weight and getting healthy, I NEED!
Need Hell, I DESERVE it!
