Yeah not too good on the body and if you Dont do it right I would imagine you will gain back what you lost plus some since the body is feeling deprived and wanting to get back to where it was comfortable.
I'm not starving myself. I'm supplying my body with nutrients and vitamins via vegetable & fruit juices. I'm just not eating food. This forces the body into ketosis which is burning fat for energy instead of depending on food intake for energy. Once I get to a more reasonable weight I will start to introduce healthy food back into my diet and hopefully by then my situation is such that I can make the time to work out and be more active. Until then this is the best immediate action I can take. There are TONS of people online who have done what I'm currently doing and I'm having a hard time finding horror stories. Most people are able to get off of ALL of their meds and are substantially more healthy once they're done than when they started. I'm not attempting to navigate uncharted territory here and I'm not starving myself either. My caloric intake has simply been reduced to veggie and fruit juice. If I feel at any point I'm endangering myself I will stop. At this point I feel great though and feel like this is the way for me to keep from breaking the 300lb mark.
I'm not fat, I'm tactically padded.
