    I wonder the difference between say, juicing, and just blending (ie making smoothies).

    The thing about juicing is that it breaks the plant down more. Makes it a lot easier for your body to break down the good stuff. Juicing is about efficiency when it comes down to it. Also, you get a full dose of fiber that your body needs too, it's just not in massive things that you need to chew up, but it's still there. You get a lot more vitamins and nutrients with juice because one cup of straight juice, has a lot more than one cup of blended veggies. One cup to one cup of each, and you will get about three times or more from the cup with juice because you're not throwing in all of the fiberous stuff your body isn't going to break down or absorb anyway.
