You should be drinking a ton of liquid. You also want to stay away from ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that you can chew. Even an almond or peanut. They key here is you don't want your digestive system working to process food.. even a small amount. This forces your body to burn fat for calories/energy. You give it the vitamins & nutrients it needs in the form of soluble juices so that it doesn't have to work. This is what forces the body to burn fat and after a few days those physical hunger pains will all but vanish. Every time you give it physical food though you short circuit the process and set yourself back a day or two. This is why if you're going to do it do it 100% and don't just kind of do it because it's not like other diets that are focused on how much you take in. The sooner you dive 100% in the better results you will see and the sooner you will feel better on it. That's if you really want to reap the benefits of a true juice fast. Doing what you're doing is still going to be healthier than had you not done anything but the results won't be as good and you likely will continue to be hungry almost always. I don't have physical hunger pains anymore and haven't in over a week now... nearly two. I get mental hunger in that I want to eat stuff every now and then like a craving but even those are less frequent. You will have small physical hungers but it's nowhere near what you're used to when you start to get hungry. It's just your body telling you it needs more juice.
