I just saw....
..what I believe was a very clean B17 low fly over my house near Carter Lake. Anyone know if there is a air show or something going on near here? I'd like my boys to see some of that older porn.
*Disclaimer: it could have easily been another plane from that era.
CORRECTION: according to the web, seems to have been an Avro Lancaster.

Saw it yesterday along with a p51 mustang flying.
They usually come out to the Loveland Airport and do shows/tours. You can fly in them if you like. You're gonna pony up some $$$$ though.Originally Posted by Limited GM

That would be cool to see.... we saw one flying around Denver a month or so ago....it was giving tours to folks. Probably the same one I think.

Seems like none of the vintage planes ever fly around or even close to Trinidad. Guess our hayfield landing strip is not large enough to accommodate any of these big ones anyhow.

A British Avro Lancaster? I believe that would be a rare sighting indeed.
From some quick Googling, it seems there are only 2 flight worthy Avro Lancasters in the world.

Nope seen it too. they were flying NW over the foothills north of ft fun then turning around.
