Let me stoke this fire: in the past year I have seen 6 blatantly drunk, drunk drivers. They all had their window rolled down. They were all Mexican looking (I didn't check their passports).

Yup. My wife and I feel the same way about public signs given in other languages in addition to English. Want to be fair? Hey, immigrants come from many places ... why do these signs come in English and Spanish only? Where are the signs in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Hindi, Tagalog, Indonesian, etc. etc. ??

Personally, I don't want to see any public sign in my native language because this is not my native country. This is United States and English is the official language.

English may be the dominant language but there is no 'official' language in the United States.

Sorry but that is wrong. For long guns, adjoining State or non-adjoining State makes no difference any more and hasn't for quite some time now but you are certainly correct in that handguns are not even an option.

Isn't that backwards? Isn't the OP located in TX and trying to purchase a gun in TX with CO ID (and corresponding .mil paperwork)? Did I miss something?
