    South Beaver Creek and Crestwood Rd.

    07/10/13 @ 11:49 - Smoke sighting is going to be a 10' x 10' smoldering area in rocky terrain near the Wheeler subdivision.

    07/10/13 @ 12:28 p.m. - The Forest Service helicopter is doing water dumps on the smoke sighting. There are no flames and no concern at this time.

    FINAL UPDATE Smoke Sighting in Gilpin County

    07/10/13 @ 3:13 p.m.- Good News!! The smoke sighting which was a 10' x 10' smoldering brush area is now fully contained. The Forest Service helicopter dumped 14 buckets of water and was able to lay the fire down. Crews will monitor the area through this evening.
