So far, reading reviews and gathering other insights on shooting with a tripod is as good as shooting off/on a pack. I've yet to confirm this. It does feel really comfortable though. I've came around holding on to the sling and noticed a lil more stabilization with this technique. I'm really looking forward to shooting with this tripod.
