I've tried hundreds of cigars and I now only smoke the La Gloria Cubana Serie R. It's a heavy smoke, but real close to a Cuban.

It depends on how much you want to spend, and how many you want to buy. Best deals are the online suppliers like JR Cigars and BestCigarPrices.com. Best prices are by the box.

We've smoked hundreds of Romeo and Julietta cigars. Excellent, consistent, and fairly priced. For less money, try LaUnica. They burn a little faster, but are otherwise superb. For more money, Ashton is a favorite. For the ultimate, a Cuban Montecristo #2.

Next time you're in the neighborhood, stop in and we will have one.

    Default Cigars

Quit cigarettes a couple years back and I was smoke free for about 8 months until my brother in law brought a couple Cubans to Christmas and I have been smoking swisher mini cigarillos ever since. Acids are a pretty good cigar for a cheaper decent cigar.

Personally, as I used to be a pretty big cigar guy, I think you can do better than Cubans- yeah they're good, but most of their appeal to Americans is the fact that they're illegal... the rebellious aspect. I like Dominicans, mostly because the flavor and robust nature (and go great with a glass of brandy or bourbon). I'd have to say my favorites are Arturo Fuente, CAO, and Montecristo but I'll delve into Cohibas and Onyx makes some really good cigars. One of my favorites downrange that I ordered were the CAO Soprano Edition ones, they were very good. But alas, I haven't smoked a cigar in probably 2 years. centrarchidae is spot on with Edwards- they're great there and usually will give some really good recommendations as to what you should try.
