ID:	31501So I went over to Edwards and picked up a few cigars. Very nice smoke shop! Nice guys, helped me w/ selection. Not bad on price either, stood in the lower range since I smoked a couple exspensive ones thos wekend already.

I figure ill keep going back untill I smoke all the ones suggested. Except for the blunt Ray recommended.

Edit: seeing how its a gun forum; thought I would add an EDC pic.

The reason I go to Edwards - when we first moved here in '96 we were in an apartment in Littleton, and I was jonesing for some 'gars. Looked in the phone book, and Edwards looked to be the closest. I called and got the owner, Bryan, but it was after closing on Sunday and he was leaving. But he offered to package up what I wanted, and leave it in the BBQ grill out back with the price, and I could just slide a check under the back door!

I didn't take the offer because I didn't know what I wanted, but he didn't know me from a bag of assholes yet made the offer anyway! That right there earned my loyal business ever since. Besides the fact it's a great shop anyway.

That's the kind of thing that gets my business for life as well.

Sounds like the kind of place I would go if I was in the market for some cigars.

AGREED! I'll tell you what; the guy who helped me(sounds like this guy) was very cool, help full and walked me around the humidor explaining things! I'll go back, no doubt.

They used to hand out a freebie every Friday, and also had free beers on Friday. But the suppliers cut out the freebies and I think they got a talking-to about the beer. Now they just have a 10% discount on Fridays. Lotta cool antiques in there too, Bryan's quite a collector. In their old shop next door, the sales counter was a bar that used to belong to Minnesota Fats, the pool player.

Go there during the week if you can, and walk a couple doors down to MW Reynolds and check out their guns. They sell high-end shotguns and rifles to rich guys, African safari type stuff. Need some .500, .600, or .700 Nitro Exress ammo? They have it.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.

lots of good recommendations on here, I'll add my .02ยข and cast my vote for Arturo Fuente (Dominican) cigars....If you look around some of the local smoke shops you can find their holiday collection (SF on 120th & Colorado had some a few weeks ago) which has a nice sample if you want to try a few out (all are excellent and available individually)....

As for a sipping drink to go with, this is something that has caught my interest as well over the last few years, and have been working on developing a taste for scotch (still at the low end of the scale, can't stand the stuff that tastes like what I would imagine Scottish dirt tastes like....)

I'm a Romeo y Julieta fan but currently have some H Upmanns in my humidors because JR had a great deal on them.

I usually go over to Cigars on 6th for a smoke if I'm not hanging out on my patio.
