This makes sense to me on a gun forum. You do realize that had Zimmerman been convicted, his conviction would be the first shot and rallying cryfor the movement to roll back CCW, Castle Doctrine and Stand your Ground laws. As for society in general, your point stands ... too much attention is paid to great spectacle and fury with little substance.

Agreed the Zimmerman trial was huge for CCW and the 2nd. My thoughts while one thing is happening and all eyes are elsewhere it seems that these potentiality huge events arise and they dont get the attention they deserve. If Obamas team informed CNN that Israel was responsible that is huge and should be a major story. That is throwing our allies to the wolves but also brings the middle east to a flashpoint. Quite frankly I was never an end times person but there is so much happening that one cant keep track of anything.
