AND, there is no F'EN way I would consent to a car search.

The law is unenforceable.
Very true, but they could claim they are looking for someone, how many missing kids are there in CO/WY, and if they see anything in the car, they could always claim reasonable suspicion and make you the first person to be arrested of the law. Not a chance I'd take.

Two receipts, 30s on 1 paid with cash, legal stuff on the other paid with a card. Then you could show proof for one purchase saying you had the 30s already.

Even if they set up a roadblock like a DUI checkpoint you tell them NO. Plus I believe it would be illegal to set up anything other than a DUI checkpoint unless they declare some type of emergency like an abducted kid etc.

Take some legally owned mags with you as well. Pay only in cash.

Hell i might take a box of 30s up there, buy some "CO legal" mags and see what happens. Not breaking the law one bit and it would be interesting to see how it plays out.
I highly doubt they'd put up a roadblock, but everyone also highly doubted this law would pass (even though everyone was still emailing/writing/calling legislators...).
