Try redwing or Irish setter boots I have 2 pairs of each and I love them they are both made by redwing but the Irish setters are for hunting and the red wings are for work. The only problem is they run $150 and up a pair. But they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had and they last over 5 years. I couldn't stand in tennis shoes that long but the Nike frees are good and rebok zig tech are also good but they will run you about $100 bucks so I would go for the boots. If money is really tight maybe you could try a pair of crocks if you don't mind looking like a lefty hippie queer
