Default Ammo cans as saddle bags

So I wasn't able to snap a pic as i was driving, but I saw a guy yesterday that had ammo boxes as his saddle bags on his motorcycle. Looks like he fabbed up some kind of brackets/platforms for them so he could remove them any time.

Never seen anything like it before, thought it was a great idea. Anybody ever done/seen that before?

I understand how Google works generalmeow, just thought I'd bring it up as a discussion topic because I've never seen it, most everybody here has a plethora of ammo cans, and there are more than a few bikers on the forum as well.

I've seen some GS Beemers with them over the years. And a KLR or two as well. If you crash much cheaper to replace than the typical panniers. Wolfman makes racks and mounting kits so you can bolt anything right on.

My brother put some on his fatboy. We had to space them out from the frame in order to keep them from hitting the swing-arm.
