Thanks for all the offers guys, really appreciate it. Mostly just blowing off steam here since my supervisor wasn't impressed with the fist sized hole in a box of envelopes "someone" punched. He was more concerned that some of them got folded up inside and the windows on them tore from it.

With my wife gone I didn't have huge plans anyway, except maybe trying out my new Sig 9mm. I will probably look at opening a separate account for online shopping, and only tying a CC to paypal. Also gonna run some antivirus and malware checks tonight to make sure I don't have a keylogger on my system.

Sorry to hear Dave, that sucks. As others have said if you need some funds to tie you over until Monday let me know.

I've been listening to way too much Dave Ramsey lately, but reading this made me decide I'm purchasing this very soon. ID Theft Protection where they do all the work AND reimburse your money if I understand it correctly.

I got 50 rounds of 9mm if you want to run through your Sig and $20 to hit up Firingline if that'll help you cheer up. I'm around the area too. PM me if you want it.

Steel cases though.. if that doesn't bother you

So last night I opened the upstairs doors to allow the breeze through, my bedroom door slams shut and somehow engages the lock. My keys are on my nightstand, and her keys are with her in Vegas. After an hour of not being able to pop the lock I had to kick the door open, which now means I need a new door.

Fortunately this morning I had an email from paypal and they got back one of the $500 charges. Only bad part is I have to wait 3 business days for it to deposit back to my checking account. Sending my forms to USAA to try and get the others reversed. I guess different rules apply to instant transfers from an account than CC transactions. So my next action once this is done is CC only on paypal, no more checking account.

I'll probably head to Firing Line tomorrow afternoon. I have enough range 9mm rounds on hand and I can use good ole MasterCard for range fees. If anyone else wants to shoot paper at close range I'm always up for meeting forum members.

If it makes you feel any better I had to break into my shop after being in it for a month. I put new locks on the inner door and then went for a test drive forgetting that I needed to grab the new keys as well. And I locked the door since I don't leave the shop unsecured while I am not here. I ended up having to kick the door in. Three kicks.

    Still need a new door.

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

I would have been in the situation of being without keys many times, but I keep a duplicate house key and a duplicate shop key in my wallet. I also keep a set of lock picks in a secure but accessible location for the times when I'm extra stupid...

I have duplicate house keys in concealed but accessible locations as well, just never thought to have a spare bedroom key.... until now.
