what the article doesn't mention is that its a normal weekend occurrence in that area for huge groups of people to loiter in the streets for hours, brandishing their guns and taunting each other.

Not to mention our little gang shootout a couple of weeks ago when they killed two people with an AK over a stolen Ipod. And early Thursday morning when an apartment was shot up and four people wounded in a "targeted drive by" using a rifle.

Read an article a little while back about the weapon of choice for Denver gang drive-by activity, happens to be a fully atomatic AK. Apparently they have become gunsmiths when they're not participating in federally sponsored urban development and educational programs. Perhaps any LEO's out there can comment on validity of the article.

Imagine that, gang-bangers using illegal machine guns during their crimes despite a federal and city ban. Guess we needs more laws and more federal funds to relieve their oppression!

I think you all misunderstand what's really goin on here. You see, guns are inherently evil and either someone brought these evil ASSAULT rifles into this country illegally for the purpose of killing poor misunderstood urban youth congregating on street corners playing their (certainly legal) games of chance or selling their wares (Oh, I'm sure they're not selling drugs) - or, if the gun wasn't brought into this country illegally, then it must have illegally modified itself and found a way to discharge it's ammo all by itself because these poor, poor, misunderstood/alienated/discriminated/downtrodden children would never do something illegal. Perhaps, the gun itself MADE little Johnny pull the trigger.

Geesh. The anti-gun folks are so naive.

1. involved with the FedGuv in one way or another
2. he will recently have met with his shrink
3. he will have been on SRI's
4. he will most likely kill himself before being taken alive.
