Default Check cashed to pending timeframe?

I just called the ATF to check status of a transfer where the check cleared on 1/8/13. According to the ATF it went pending on 6/3/13. That seems like a LONG time to get to pending based on looking at about 50 recent status postings on that other AR15 site.

    Anyone else seen this happen?

    Thanks in advance

My mid-January cashed check went pending late February. About 5 weeks if memory serves (Form 1).

I just looked on NFA tracker. Most go pending within a few weeks of checks cashed but there are a few examples that did not go pending for several months. It appears that those still did approval around the 6 month mark so not sure how much relevance the pending status has on the overall time?

Thanks for the info; the lady also checked and there were no errors or problems so far, it just took a long time to be assigned. I'll report back once it's approved.

Current wait times have grown to nine months, door to door, in part thanks to the sequester. January checks cashed should be getting approved in early October according to the latest tracking.

What tracking are you looking at? NFA tracker is showing some late December checks cashed already approved so October seems pretty far out based on that. I can see new forms being 9+ months but would think Dec.- Jan. forms would be more like 7(ish) months? There are several Dec. 26 checks cashed that have received there stamp around July 10-20.

Just got a call from MGT so the long period to move to pending didn't seem to impact the overall wait time.

Awesome Congrats. I am still waiting for my stamp in the mail which I fear is lost at this point. Approved on July 30th and still don't have my stamp.
