    Default Auto Insurance Question

A quick question for any insurance agents or gurus out there. If my car is parked in a retail parking lot and is struck by another vehicle and damaged, is the claim comprehensive coverage or collision coverage?

Collision claim. It would be listed as a not-at-fault hit/run claim. So while it won't count against your rates, you would have to pay your collision deductible while the insurance company covers everything over your deductible amount.
