This is good stuff to know. You hear it is illegal to take a gun onto school property (unless it is in your car, kept unloaded and used in an approved, public demonstration, etc) but no one ever says HOW much trouble you'll get into. Well, if you just have it, and haven't committed a crime with it, it appears to be a Class 6 Felony, which comes with a minimum of 1 year in jail .
