    Default Stippled my FDE Glock

After getting a few quotes I decided it wasn't worth it to pay someone to poke holes in my glock. So I decided to try it myself. I practiced on one square on a PMAG and then went to town. I think it turned out really good for my first time. I even got the wife to try it out on the PMAG. She did great.

One of the wife trying it out. Shes going to do her Sig 2022 this week.

My EDC: Handcuffs, Bandana, and Ball Gag.

If I'm ever at a party and the cops come to arrest people. Ill blindfold myself, throw the ball gag in, handcuff my hands, and hide in a closet. Police never arrest hostages!

One of the easiest and fun mods to do to modern polymer pistols. It amuses me that people pay alot of money for others to do this service when a 5 dollar iron and a little practice will get you the same results. I also get a kick out of the folks that lose their minds over how "YOU RUINED YOUR RESALE VALUE" Yeah, its a 500 dollar glock, its not like I took the iron to a 1st gen Colt SAA.

Anyway, great job. Looks good and keep up the fun.

Still debating stippling. I'm okay with the look but unsure why I would really need to do this to my pistol. Suggestions?

I do understand why some people file down the finger grooves though.

It's a measure of the civility in this country that no ones seems to fear constantly pissing off the people who own lots of guns.

I shot my gen3 in the rain and it was almost impossible to control it. After stippling it would take king kong to make it move in my hand. Same issue with the g26, It was a gen4 but my hands are way to big for it so the stippling allows me to hang on to it a little better. Way better than the gen4 texture it came with. It feels great, I was really scared and was going to send it to Salient Arms to do it, but they quoted me $400. Best thing ive done yet. If you head up to the shoot at Harris Park in September, you are more than welcome to take it for a test drive.

Thanks for the reply. How does this compare to something like Talon Grips?
