So have you shot it? What do you think as I am looking at the PST series also for my latest build.
Did you get the MOA model or the MOAR reticle?
    Inquiring minds want to know

I really like my 4-16x PST. Its the Mil/Mil. I like the reticle a lot and its a great scope for the money.

Good to hear as I am looking for an optic to reach out to 500 yards max or so even though where I shoot has only 100 and 200 yard ranges.
Hopefully someone will have them for sale soon. Cabelas and Optics Planet all want 900

There are 2 models of each, a Second Focal Plane and a First Focal. The SFP are $100 cheaper than the FFP's. I really like FFP, and the 4-16x is ample magnification to 500y. But if you got the cash the 6-24x FFP is fantastic; and nobody can touch Vortex's warranty.

That being said I would always recommend trying to get behind one in person before you buy!

I am absolutely happy with my SFP Viper PST 4-16, it's been great so far and the glass is of a quality typically found in much higher priced scopes. I can't quite get used to FFP scopes and if I'm using it for anything along the lines of where the FFP is handy, I've got it turned all the way up anyway, so I saved the extra $$ and went to the SFP version in the EBR-1 Mrad. I'm very happy with it and plan to put another just like it or the 6-24 on a dedicated Varmint upper I've got in the works as well as thier 2-10 on another upper of mine. They are great scopes.

It may be just because I'm a newb with optics, but does anyone else notice adjustments are backwards? I had Jim Erwin (delta force sniper) help teach me how to zero mine and even he thought the adjustments were a little weird. I do love it though. I have the 2.5-10.

If I'm ever at a party and the cops come to arrest people. Ill blindfold myself, throw the ball gag in, handcuff my hands, and hide in a closet. Police never arrest hostages!
