Lauer-Weaponry sells Dura-Coat:

All you need to apply it with is an airbrush, but it is recommended that you media blast the current finish off of your weapon prior to that.
Then you have to wait two weeks for it to cure, or you can purchase the bake on stuff they offer, where you stick it in the oven for a few hours - so long as the Missus approves of that.
Brownells sells a product called Aluma-Hyde that I've used on my AR accessories.Aerosol spray can.You might look into that product as well.![]()
Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to Fight, he'll just kill you.
Ok wrote two long posts about how well dura coat worked for me, but when I clicked to post I had to relog onto the website and it was lost. AHHH...this moron can't work a computer, but dura coat was a peice of cake. Buy the cheap air brush kit from harbor frieght.
Pro-Tip: if you're writing a long post to any website, copy and paste it into Notepad or any text editor. That way if your browser crashes, or gets messed up you can just copy and paste it back into the web form.![]()
What has anybody experienced with parkerizing first then dura coating. I have heard its super strong when done this way.?
