Sell illegal mags to LEO in NY????

Got a message on another board from a LEO that wants to buy 10 m14 mags. Says he's LEO so its legal to own.

Sounds like he's using it for his personal collection and not his duties, but I remember all the talk about pressuring companies not to sell to LEOs if the citizens can't own one. I could use the money but part of me thinks I shouldn't just on principle alone. If its illegal for your citizens then its illegal for you.....


What would you do?

I wouldn't sell anything to anyone in New York, but that's just me. You can sell your mags to someone in a free state just as easily.

"I appreciate your interest in purchasing the M14 magazines I have for sale and respect your decision to serve the people of your community in the honored profession of law enforcement. However, these items are currently restricted from ownership/possession by the citizens of your state. As such, I can not, in all good conscience, sell them to you simply because you are in an exempted class. I'd like to recommend that you continue to serve yourself and fellow New York citizens by working to overturn these draconian laws. Once again, thank you for your interest."
