Default Anyone have experience with bl-c(2)?

Anyone have any personal experience with bl-c(2) for 223/5.56 loading 55 grain fmjbt? My hornady book shows 24.4 grains 2800 fp/s - 28.1 grains 3300 fp/s max load.

    Thanks in advance.

I have about 300 rounds loaded with it. 55gr FMJ. Just haven't shot any yet. Can't remember how many grains I used. 27.4 sounds familiar.

We can try them out sometime if you want.

I am using 846 surplus powder now, its supposed to be very, very similar to BL-C2. I am using around 25gr with 55 (fmj w/cannelure) and 22.5gr with 75gr OTM. I am getting great accuracy with the 75's! Standard primers on both.
If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.

I'm using 27.6 grs behind 55gr Varmageddon pills. Man do they "pop" when they hit things. Powder functions well, meters great...all you could ask for in a powder.

Likewise, loaded up 100, first time using BLC 2. Powder was easy to work with. Just haven't shot them yet.

Also have read that Vargent is a good powder for 223. That's the next experiment.
