    I'll be taking my 16" PredatAR to a training course early next month. The course is meant for precision work. I'll post up a review of the course and the equipment.
    Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

    I have signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement about what I learned while 'behind the curtain' of LaRue Tactical. Nonetheless, there's the results of seeing, asking questions, then applying the answers.

    So.... After much gnashing of teeth and more than a few growing pains, I think I've got this rifle dialed in.
    Just doing what I can to stay on this side of the dirt.

    Rifle: LaRue PredatAR 16" .308
    Optic: Leupold MK4 LR/T 3.5-10x40
    Bipod: Atlas


    Bullet: 175 SMK
    Powder: 41gr IMR4064
    Brass: LC12LR once fired
    Primer: Rem 9 1/2


    Smallest group: 0.372"
    Average group: 0.8826"


    1.142+0.572+1.222+0.372+1.105=4.413 4.413/5=0.8826"

    Very nice. I've got a similar load with 4064.

    I'd like to see another target with at least a 16x to 20x scope.

    wait, I forgot you have bionic eyes now. Maybe that won't help..

    Sorry I missed that. The images in post 1 aren't loading so I just glossed over that one. Very nice indeed and good to know you can still reach out with less than half the power while maintaining better than double the group size.

    I recall reading somewhere that black hills uses 748 ball powder in their match loads.
