The "workplace violence" trial started today. I take it Hassan is representing himself. He apologized, not for killing 14 people (charged with 13, but one woman was pregnant), but essentially for mistakes in waging Jihad. He's admitted to the shooting.

So, my question is, why isn't this trial over and him before a firing squad already?
