Well first- we needed this trial YEARS ago... why did it take so long to try him? But that aside, all we need is the officer presiding over his trial by Court Martial to find him guilty, sentence him to death, and have the sentence carried out post-haste.

IIRC the trial was delayed for a long time over his refusal to shave his beard as required by the military but forbidden under Islam. No judge would force him to shave because god forbid we do or say anything against a Muslim.

We also needed to wait until BO was re-elected, wait that couldn't happen in the US
