I think that everything gets here Friday, but I have a long weekend coming up that I could probably get some thrown and coated. There has been stuff brought up in other threads, but any methods / do's & don't do's would be greatly appreciated.
I'm waiting for the 300blk molds to come in stock from midwayusa, and then we'll start!!!

I cast 1000 or so Lee 170-309 bullets, water dropped as i cast. Weighed all the bullets to 176 plus or minus 1 grain. I would say 80% weighed 175.3 to 175.5.
Fired up the Powder Coat gun. Used Harbor Freight black. I started water dropping right after I cooked the bullets. When I went to resize and add gas check, some of the coating on a few of the bullets flaked off.
Just my observation, but when Powder Coating rifle bullets don't water drop, pistol bullets not a problem.
Just thought I'd share my days events.

Get toaster ovens at garage sale they are cheap. I was over cooking my bullets. I cook for 15 minutes at 425 degrees and all is good. Don't use Pam in excess it will absorb into your powder coat and screw your bullets up.
I drilled holes exactly so the base will slide down into hole, makes putting gas check on alot easier. Use reynolds wrap non stick tin foil that stuff is great.
I got powder at Cabelas in Sidney yesterday, so if it is not to hot I will shoot this coming weekend and post results
