    Default Weather again.

Ho-Lee-Crap. I am lucky just getting a strong rain/wind now but a little north in CS proper and 24. Was darker than in the pics. Click image for larger version.

This has been a really weird weather year and the cold weather is coming soon.

Just saw some video of the bath house in Manitou Springs. 5' of water running through 1st floor.

24 is shut down with big time flash flood going on.

Just came down 24 from Woodland Park just over an hour ago. They must have closed it after I made it through. Got a call from my buddy on his way home to Florissant. He got delayed around Pikes Peak Hwy (what he called Cascade) for about 1/2 hr. then were redirected to the "other lane" (going uphill on the downhill lanes). Said there were lots of rocks and at one point a foot tall mound of sand across Hwy 24.

While I was in my big truck, it looks like I got past that mess just in time.

Wonder if this is indicative of a stormy winter...

Best way to get in to see me at the shop is to call or email Shannon and make an appointment.

Really good cell passed overhead yesterday evening around 6pm. Temp was mid-60s when the rain and hail started. It dropped to 39 degrees during the storm. Then warmed back up to 54 before sundown. It's been wet and cool all summer...which has been really good for keeping the fire danger down. First summer in years we haven't had to constantly worry about getting burned out.
