Ive never heard anyone say something like this...ever. You seem to always be having confrontations with people over the military or guns. Why not chill a little bit?

Urban, you should spout your regular conservative rhetoric, but do it while wearing an Obama t-shirt. If you tell liberals you're liberal, they'll believe you, even while spouting conservative ideas. That's what I'm going to do from now on. Emotional warfare.

Meh, rather than argue Socialism vs communism, call it "police state" and be done with it.

You won't be lying, just remember you're whats known as a "Classical Liberal" who believes in rights and freedoms. In fact, most other countries the political parties are "Social(ist/Democrat/etc) vs the Liberal Party." So you're just being "international" when you call yourself a Liberal.

Who are some examples of the "Classical Liberals"? Just curious.

thread starters, college students, to name a few.

SERIOUSLY you need to do some internet searching to get up to speed. CSU liberalism is going to eat you alive before labor day.

Jefferson and Madison for two. Hard to go wrong with the authors of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution respectively. Mark Twain would also fall in the camp of classic liberalism although he likely would have rejected being labeled in any way.
