    Default thanks tsa :(

    my wifes dad gave her the family silverware set from the early 1800s she didnt want it to get stolen out of checked luggage so she had it in her carry on

    tsa siezed all the forks and butter knives as weapons.....would not let her put them in her checked luggage and would not let her fill out a claim form or whatever to have them send them too her.....

    they also finger fucked the pizza and crumb cake she got from jersey for me.....

    wtf is going on with this country

    So they took them and would not give them back? That's just a little illegal... They have to give you the option to keep your property one way or another.

    they do? from what Cofi describes, these were seized as weapons, not an improper bottle of shampoo. I hate the TSA as much as anyone but if you tried to take a glock through the detector i'd bet you're not getting it back

    Even their site exempts butter knives http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-informat...ohibited-items. No law is broken until you get on the plane so they can not seize your property for a crime you have not committed.
