A few years ago I came across a 2 dollar bill. I decided that I would give it to the first of my 2 kids who told me what they did in school when I asked. The 2 dollar bill is still in my wallet.

My boy is five and starting kindergarten tomorrow. Ask him what he did at daycare I would get "don't remember" if pushed get "don't want to talk about it" but would say he had fun.

Mine is 5 as well and started school yesterday. The only comment we got from the teacher when we picked him up was "He needs to listen better". No details or anything that would actually help....yay, lol!

And like most of you, when you ask him about his day, his focus is on one thing that he thought was fun. Getting details out of him doesn't happen!
