Just for the record, anyone who mentions that she is an honor student, or anything otherwise about her achievements, extra curricular activities, or personality, doesn't get and needs to seriously rethink their stance. People who try to argue about this based on her merit are being emotional and not using logic. This is the same reason we even have dumb laws like this.
If this were a gang banger and/or a habitual nuisance at the school, I'd feel the same way. The fact of the matter is that no crime was committed, therefor, no punishment should be had. Period.

I'm just sick of all the media and everyone I hear talking about this always bringing up that she was an honor student. Who cares? Only honor students deserve liberty and freedom now?
