I did cheat in celebration of passing a certification exam on Saturday.
Back on the wagon, so to speak.
Will be starting working out again starting tomorrow morning

I've been hanging in faithfully. Removed the cheat as well, for now. I've been faithful to the style of eating for 3.5 weeks and have lost about 18 pounds. Definitely moved into the lower pants size, and I'm right on the border of moving down to a true 2X (being able to wear a 2x purchased anywhere. The Big and Tall 2X are more like a standard 3X). Looking forward to kicking the old clothes to a co-worker who is working to drop down to my previous size.
I've definitely leveled off though, and I expect to lose between 2-3 pounds a week from here on out. The big win party is over and now it's on to little wins.
Good for you. Keep going!
I'm in the slower area now, too. I think 2-3lbs a week is a good target for me. 213 going for 195
Older thread bump, but I figured I would share a good Keto Dessert Recipe.
I'm back to doing Keto, after having failed to maintain while being on the road a lot for work. I'm only 5 days back into it, but I've already seen the dropping start. Thankfully I didn't put all the weight I lost last time back on, but I put more than I wanted to back on.
Anyway, on to the recipe.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Bars
Bars:
.75 cup Almond Flour
2 TBL spoons Coconut Oil
.25 cup "Swerve Confectioners Sugar" (or other powdered sugar replacement) https://www.amazon.com/Swerve-Sweete...9438933G1&th=1
.75 cup Peanut or Almond Butter
.5 teaspoon Vanilla
Chocolate Topping:
.5 cup Chocolate Chips (Sugar Free or very low carb Semi-Sweet) https://www.amazon.com/Lilys-Dark-Ch...e%2Bchips&th=1
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, oil, peanut/almond butter, and vanilla thoroughly in mixing bowl.
It will make a pretty uniform consistency paste.
Press into the bottom of a small baking dish and place in fridge.
Microwave chocolate chips in bowl till melted, then spread them across the top of the peanut butter bar base.
Back into the fridge for an hour, or into the freezer for about 30 minutes.
Low carb, very tasty, easy to make, and helps with the cravings for a dessert type of snack.

Yesterday was day one of keto (this time around), not too bad, but this morning is the first gym session after a full day of keto, so wish me luck, thank God it's only cardio.
I started eating healthy at New Years. Started out at 210 lbs. Weighed myself yesterday morning and I was 171. Thirty-nine pounds down. I’ll probably level off around 165 or maybe 160 and then I’ll start working out to really get in shape.
