The sad and shitty fact IS....

That even if everyone that replied to this thread, stopped and pooled all of our money together to start a new cable service company together......with the idea of serving hard working people with programming that they WANT, and not "bundles" of useless shit, "packages of useless shit"...and all that......

We would get squashed into oblivion before we could even get our feet off the ground.

Pick your poison and take your ass pounding.

Dish anywhere has Hulu content on their site. Not saying that dish owns them.

The hopper/sling is awesome. Fuck Comcast, I was with them for 10 years with no issues or late payments and they treat me like a scum bag. No thanks.

You don't need a contract, just the triple. And if you aren't satisfied with the phone, use the 30 day guarantee.

Comcast may be faster than CenturyLink DSL, but they throttle your connection if they even think you torrent and they will fire you as a customer if you start going over your usage limits (limits they claim don't exist but do ... you start streaming TV and you may run close to those limits). So you're never really going to be able to take advantage of the greater bandwidth without risking trouble with Comcast.

Additionally Comcast is evil (and wants to take your guns ... among other things).

With our CenturyLink DSL line I'm able to run 2 Roku boxes at the same time and still surf just fine.

Roku + Netflix + Plex + antenna and I'm pretty happy (and only paying $8/mo ... not counting internet service that I'd have anyway).

    No phone line required.
Must vary by options selected, because we paid, around $30 a month, but we had every channel available.

You don't get close to any magical limits or unicorns streaming TV. Even if you did get throttled it would still be 10 times faster then century link haha.

With your reasoning you better stick to smoke signals.
