When I'm on the video I want from YouTube, I click 'Share' and then copy the provided URL. In the forum posting, I select the 'Insert Video Clip' from the toolbar, paste in the video URL, and select 'OK'.

All I see are smiley options. No "tool bar" in the post entry area.
Copy everything in your link AFTER the = sign, then paste it into the youtube brackets.
